Based on the current situation, we are stating the band’s position on existing bookings using the current information at hand, and how the implementation of social controls has developed in other countries around the world.
At present we are not actively cancelling private bookings and will work with each client to achieve the safest and most agreeable outcome possible should any of the below situations arise. Public performances (i.e. pub gigs) are currently under review based on government advise, however some of these have already been cancelled by the pubs themselves and we are now not performing outside of private functions until at least mid-May.
As always, if you have a specific query or require clarification on anything, just drop us an email as usual and we’ll do our best to get back to you asap. There’s quite a few communications flying around at the moment though so please bear with us!
Stay safe, and fingers crossed your events all go ahead as planned!
FAQ For Private clients and Wedding bookings
What if my venue closes and I can’t have my event on the day you are booked to play?
Venue closure – should your event be cancelled due to the venue closing we will work with you to honour the booking at some point in the future once some normality has returned. Your deposit will be safely retained and the final balance only due at a date nearer the new date once this has been arranged.
What if one or more of the band are ill or in isolation?
Band member illness or isolation – as usual, we have a rosta of extremely talented stand in musicians who we have all performed with in the past so as long as at least 2 of us are standing, the gig will go ahead as normal (again, this is dependent on current government advice and is subject to change) This is no different to the case in more ‘normal’ times’. If the majority, or the entire band, is in isolation on the date of your event, then we will do what we can to find a suitable replacement, however, in reality this may prove to be extremely difficult as other bands will be in a similar situation across the UK. Of course, if we cannot fulfil the date for this reason we will offer a full refund.
What if we have to postpone the event until later in the year, or even next year?
Event postponement – Should your event be postponed, we will work with you to fulfil the new date (diary dependent) or help as far as we can to source an alternative if the date clashes with an existing booking.
